Checking $364.85

Savings $6815.87

--Taffy will move $1k over to checking so nothing bounces

Breakfast for kids—those who come to school without having eaten. Sue K’s idea—she would purchase granola bars and pop tarts when they are hungry or without food. $50 Toby will talk to Sue about it and get bulk discount from Sam’s Club. They will purchase and we will reimburse.

Cookbook fundraiser—we need to get some cookbook recipes! Send a flyer home and have them write it out.  Or if someone sends a picture copy we can retype them. Lisa will talk to Karen for a lined sheet so that people can write on it with a note they can send a photo. Will promote the inhouse field trip and eighth grade gift this way. Add a post on to the PTO webpage and share it on Facebook and the Website and the Parent Page. Let’s do a shared Google Doc so we can have them all in one place. Kid illustrations/photos are welcome also!

Digital theater—Mar/Apr/May shows where kids can watch a play for $50/class to participate. Pete The Cat (for young kids--4k/5k/1/2), Dogman The Musical (3-5 grades), Middle School Magic Show (45-1hr) Teachers put them on their screen in the classroom. We can tie in the cookbook fundraiser to pay for it. Racine Zoo and Kohl’s Wild Theater did a digital show also this year at school.

Teacher meals—Conferences coming up end of Feb. Do Wed night meals – Chinese from Chopsticks in Waterford

Turn off TV week/Book fair—Could hold school book fair during school day only (no night event unless virtual), in the gym to social distance. E-wallet is an option to publicize so kids don’t have to bring cash, you can put money in an account. Could incorporate virtual bingo, virtual storytime, virtual educational classes at museums. Wait as long as possible so kids could go outside for gym, or we do it on MWF when there is no gym class. Want to do it after state testing (which is in April). So mid to end of April.

Spring concert/raffle TBD but concert not likely. Try online auction where you bid on baskets? The high school choir did something similar – could send home a picture of a basket and then write name and a bid, the last one won the basket (silent auction via google form?)  Or try a Google form for a raffle where you Venmo or Paypal the money for each class’s tickets Send home the picture of items, buy tear-off tickets sent home with buckets set up at school, kids bring them back. We can have themes and do it like we always have or: eighth always does gift cards, what if every class did gift cards?

End of year carnival—YES we will be doing this, Chairperson needed, we said no to bounce houses but they have other items such as the big dartboard, large inflatable games, obstacle courses, Joane will book a few things now because they are sometimes hard to get.

Open to floor—

Virtual author visit scheduled for end of Feb, she reads her story, does Q&A, talks about fiction/writing but you have to buy her books ($30x4 classes= $120) 4k/5k/1/2—Jill Borchardt will order and PTO will reimburse.

Eighth grade gift might be a photo backdrop screen with WC Bulldog for the school, comes with a frame, it would be fun for photos for Student of the Month (class would put in $3-400, PTO will raise funds for it with cookbook sales) approx. $800-1,200

New student t’s are in

Lisa will drop off water bottles tomorrow

New Students of the Month for Jan, Taffy will get lunches for them
