Ask parents to supply candy for carnival donation.

Could we use our Square to get a link for donations? (E-Funds?)

Joane will make a flyer for the parent update.

Fundraiser update – Milwaukee Pretzel Co. has not called us back for Spring fundraiser so we are backing away from using them. Other Waterford schools did Color Run and WGSD ran it, we were a part but don’t want to plan the whole thing. For next fall.

Movie night – The first one went well, we broke even. So if we do another in May, we could pull in a little more $. Let’s do a sign-up for movie night so we know what to buy. (Gatorade/juiceboxes). Turning Red from Disney. We can stream it from Disney+.  Tuesday 5/17.

Movie license reimbursement – Joane paid for this personally. $420 we will pay to Joane, half from the school ($210 a piece – half from school, half from PTO, Kelli will get approved)

Movie license guidelines – we did not have restrictions from streaming it.

Popcorn for popcorn maker – Lisa will ask Mr. Collins where we got it, or we could order from Amazon. We should also look into getting the bags.

Honor roll – Went well, there is extra ice cream in freezer for teachers along with toppings. We could have it served after testing. We do sixth/seventh/eight grade honor roll donuts on second last day of school (Monday 6/6).We will get numbers as we are closer to it.

Teacher meal – 5/6 Staff breakfast, do a signup genius with parent donations. Breakfast items: fruit/bagels/eng muffins/yogurt/granola/juices/cream cheese/pb/jelly/butter/pastries/egg bake/coldbrew coffee

Lockers – Krista was going to talk to Kevin and her father-in-law. Lockers have gone up in price but we would not need to pay to install. We could do a fundraiser for this, such as the Color Walk. We could advertise at Rock the Block. We need to find out if this appropriate spend for us. What else could PTO provide for $2-4k? Kelli will speak with Kevin. We’ve spent $2-300 in past on things like teacher lanyards/a microwave.

Grad celebration – We’ve purchased the cake in years past. Joane will email Toby to see what we will need to provide.

Open floor – Book fair is coming up week of 5/9. There will also be a spring concert that week. We did Book fair during the day only last year. We don’t need to go back to a week of nightly events. PTO doesn’t have a lot of $ to spend to buy the kids each a book but we can look at it next year.

Camp Readalot  – on 6/3 (Friday). Kelli will check if they can do hot dogs for kids through the lunch program. We can ask Jonna if she needs anything else. PTO could supply a nut free/gluten free treat.
