Accounts $933.01 checking, $1,316.54 savings

Graduation celebration – 17 kids graduating; PTO buys the punch, cake (Pick N Save/full sheet); need two parent volunteers; to serve cake and punch and do decorations – we will send out an email; cups and napkins Monday June 6

Staff meal and gift – egg bake was a hit, breakfast was enjoyed by all; umbrellas and gift card for teachers from PTO

Movie night – Turning Red; moved to Tues 5/24, we have food leftover and popcorn from Mr Collins so we are all set with that for the popcorn machine (can be ordered through RoJo’s online site); face paint?

Camp Readalot  - 6/3 we are getting hotdogs for lunch from Taher; we will need to follow up with Jonna to see if we need to help with it (popcorn; water; cookies from us, Joane will double check)

Honor roll treats – donuts on Monday of graduation - Lisa will order with the cake (48/4 dozen)

Carnival – face painting from Kevin’s wife, do it in the pre-play area; we need a shopping list for carnival; we will order little bags for the candy so that everyone has something to bring home. We need to do a signup genius for parents to volunteer for the carnival stations.

Positions for 2022-23 school year – Lisa nominated as future president; Joane would stay on as a VP; we need to get parents involved more; invite parents to come at signup, Rock the Block

Rock the Block – Aug 25, We can go out and get parents involved by going on the busy routes to meet people and include flyers in the goody bags; as well as at parades; get PTO involved with the activities of the outreach committees; at registration, can we add on a check box to be included in PTO directory (in May/June)?

Open floor – concentrate more on fundraising next year; Kevin suggested the parent who owns a greenhouse (Sunnyslope Gardens) in New Berlin; maybe they would donate some percent of sales; ask the family if they will do something like that (poinsettias for holidays)?

Fall fundraiser –  Joane will reach out to other PTOs about the color run (can be organized over summer)

 

We will have another meeting in June to discuss carnival, fall fundraiser, etc. June 13 6 pm; board meets in July, first meeting Aug before school starts.
