We shared info about the WC operational referendum upcoming. Char Keuler is on the committee as well.

This Wednesday there is an information meeting about the referendum at 6 pm in the library. Election is April 2. PLEASE VOTE!

WC School Board will have two positions open (unopposed current members to be voted back in): Tony Schopp and Todd Galkowski.

Carnival

Gee Funny Farm will do $700 same cost for the same program as last year. Sloth gets sleepy plus is extra $400--we'll skip it, thanks!

Inflatables pricing is in the works. They would like to set up the night before and make sure the stuff would be ready. They would have to take liability on the inflatables. We would have to see if they can agree to it. We take liability on the items being set up outside instead of inside.

Kevin McCormick wants to know if we'll do a pie throw or a dunk tank. Pros and cons discussed--we are leaning toward pie.

Kids will have a bag lunch that day.

Spring fundraiser

Joane emailed everyone and 2 places replied--  they said they need to know what what they’ll get profit. Paul Pedal pushers has fall mums. (Lisa talked to Sunnyslope, which doesn’t do fundraisers but they like to give back and their child goes here. Simon’s – Val Bluhm, the 4k teacher, is related to the owner (Kelli/Renee can ask). I will get Langes info. Ideally we’d like a 50% profit and spring flower baskets or veggies or gift cards.

Movie Night is always an option. Family STEAM Night is 4/24 school sponsored, Gateway FAB Lab will visit and Innovation classes will have interactions for the little kids. We can maybe do concessions at the events.

Bulldog Classic basketball tournament is this weekend, both days. Volunteers are needed. Contact Mr McCormick/Mr Collins, organizers.

Teacher appreciation week is May 6-10.

The lanyards will be given as a teacher gift and we will buy a larger gift, an ice machine perhaps. Lisa will take a look at pricing and models. Kelli will look for other ideas with the teachers.

We usually do a meal that week, a potluck Friday breakfast.

PTO board nominations

We would like to get people to be nominated this spring. We can share the bylaws and budget in our parent update along with the nomination form.

Meeting end:  5:25 p.m.
